Have
you built Apache with the latest updates ( mod_auth_apple,
mod_hfs_apple, mod_macbinary_apple, mod_sherlock_apple)
from Apple?
Yes the Apple modules were built with Apache.
Do
you install Apache in the same location as Apple does?
Yes and no, Apache is installed in the same place as Apple.
In fact the web sharing control panel still works. Apache2
is installed in a new independent directory, and does not
interfer with Apples.
How
long to you estimate the lag time between a new release
of code (Apache, PHP, MySQL) to having a web based update
available?
We estimate new CD's to released about every 4 to 6 weeks.
The lag time should be no more then 2 weeks after a significant
new version of the software has been released. Ideally the
time should in most cases be around a week's time.
Are
those screenshots of OmniWeb, running phpMyAdmin accurate,
or did you Photoshop them? If your OmniWeb works with phpMyAdmin,
I would love to know what you did to make it happen.
Those are in fact authenticate screenshots, running
OmniWeb 4.0.1. It sounds like a httpd.conf configuration
problem - does it work for you with other browsers?
Do
you have an announce list for your updates?
We do. To be added to our Announce List please send an e-mail
to announce@openosx.com
with "subscribe" in the subject line. To be removed
from the list send an e-mail with "unsubscribe"
in the subject line.
Do
you have a European distributor?
No we currently do not have a distributor in Europe though
we are looking into our options.
